2017 Walk to Answer TTP Together
Donate Now

Goal $350.00

Please support me in my quest to help Answer TTP! Donations over $25 will receive a Canadian receipt for income tax purposes.

I will be joining other TTP patients and supporters on September 16, 2017 to raise research dollars for this orphaned disorder.   We will be walking alone or in a small group. We will all be walking together!

Your donation will help us to raise funds for much needed research, education, and patient support to help ease treatment and ultimately find a cure for TTP. TTP is too rare to make it economical for pharmaceutical companies to fund specialized TTP research. Your donation makes our fight possible.

We are a geographically dispersed patient group. Walking alone or in small groups within our local communities gives us a sense of unification and strength. Our efforts will help to speed early detection of a TTP crisis. Without treatment 95% of TTP patients die. Delayed diagnosis leads to irreversible complications from heart attack, stroke, kidney failure and death.

Join my effort to make a difference. Donate generously today.

Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura, TTP, is a rare blood disorder characterized by small blood clots that form throughout the body. A TTP crisis is considered a true medical emergency. Too many patients suffer irreversible complications or die because diagnosis isn't fast enough.
